Overview
The Overview report is your home base — traffic, engagement and conversions for the selected period, all on one screen. No sub-menus, no custom reports to build.
Scorecards
At the top sit four scorecards. You choose which four to show, and your selection is remembered in your browser. Available metrics:
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Total Pageviews | Every page load and SPA navigation. |
| Unique Visitors | Distinct visitors in the period. |
| Sessions | Visits — a session groups a visitor's activity within a time window. |
| Bounce Rate | Share of sessions with only a single pageview. |
| Avg. Session Duration | Average length of a session. |
| Views per Visit | Average pageviews per session. |
Each card shows a delta against the previous, equivalent period, so you can see at a glance whether a number is up or down.
Breakdown chart
Below the scorecards is a breakdown over time. Pick a metric and a dimension and Otus plots the top series (plus an "Other" bucket) across your date range.
- Metrics: Sessions, Pageviews, Bounce rate, Conversion rate, Revenue.
- Dimensions: Channel, Country, Device, Browser.
A companion donut chart shows the share of the total for the same metric and dimension (hidden for rate-based metrics like bounce rate).
Visitor locations
The Visitor Locations panel shows where your traffic comes from. Toggle between:
- a world map (choropleth) shaded by visitor volume, and
- a table ranking countries by visitors and share.
Devices, top pages and top sources
The overview also surfaces three quick breakdowns:
- Devices — desktop / mobile / tablet split.
- Top Pages — your most-visited pages.
- Top Sources — where visitors come from.
You'll also find entry pages and exit pages (with exit rate) to see where journeys start and end.
Conversions
If you've registered any conversions, a Conversions section appears with:
- scorecards for common goals (form submits and leads, sign-ups, logins, searches) plus any custom conversions,
- a conversion trend chart over time, and
- a top search queries breakdown.
Learn how to set these up in Custom events & goals.
Date range & comparison
Use the date-range picker at the top to switch periods. Where available, deltas compare against the previous equivalent period (for example the prior 30 days).
