Manage everything about your subscription from Account → Subscription & billing.
Who bills you
Our order process is run by Paddle.com, our online reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payments, sales tax/VAT, invoices and payment-related customer service. Your bank statement and invoices will show Paddle as the seller.
From trial to paid
New accounts start on a 30-day free trial, no card required. Before it ends, choose a plan and complete the checkout to keep your data flowing. Subscribing during the trial charges you right away and ends the trial. If the trial ends without a subscription, tracking for your sites pauses until you subscribe. Your dashboards stay available.
Prices, currency and tax
Our list prices are in EUR and exclude VAT/sales tax. At checkout Paddle shows the price in your local currency and adds the tax that applies where you are. Buying for a business? Enter your VAT number at checkout; where reverse charge applies, no VAT is charged.
You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Monthly or yearly
Every plan can be billed monthly or yearly. Paying yearly gets you two months free compared to paying monthly for the same plan. You can switch between the two from the billing screen at any time.
Change your plan
Switch plans from the billing screen at any time. We show you exactly what will be charged or credited before you confirm.
- Upgrades apply immediately. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period.
- Downgrades also apply immediately. The unused part of your current plan is credited against your next invoices.
You can't downgrade to a plan whose limits you're already over (for example more sites than the plan allows). Remove the extra sites or custom events first.
Payment method and billing details
Use Update payment method and Billing details on the billing screen to change your card, billing address or VAT number. These open Paddle's secure customer portal.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it automatically over the following weeks and emails you so you can update your payment method. Your plan stays fully active in the meantime. If the payment still can't be collected, the subscription is cancelled and tracking pauses until you subscribe again.
Cancelling
Use Cancel subscription on the billing screen. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, tracking stops and your dashboards remain available. You can subscribe again at any time.
Invoices
Paddle emails you a receipt with an invoice for every charge. You can also download every invoice as a PDF from the billing screen.
Usage & limits
Your plan includes a monthly event allowance shared across all your sites. There are no overage fees and going over your allowance never locks your dashboard. See Plans & limits.
